Stacey Laureyssens is theOriginalFace®

Stacey is a dedicated artist who has trained with various professionals in the make-up world, and has been doing make-up specifically for the entertainment industry since 1997. 

 

She has worked on films, music videos and fashion shows, as well as photo shoots, weddings, operas and even circus and burlesque performances. She has used her skills in Toronto, around Ontario and across Canada.

 

Stacey’s goal is to help you express who you are on the inside on the out side.

 

 Stacey's Philosophy of Makeup:

 

• Make-up is about expressing who you are on the inside on the out side. 

• It’s a personal expression of self and therefore there are no rules. 

• You are the expert on you! A make-up artist is there to interpret your ideas and show you the best way to achieve your vision using products and techniques used by the pros. 

• A skilled make-up artist should always make you comfortable with the look and the feel of the make-up.

"Sweep away thoughts!" means one must do zazen. Once thoughts are quieted, the Original Face appears. Thoughts can be compared to clouds. When clouds vanish, the moon appears. The moon of suchness is the Original Face. Thoughts are also like the fogging of a mirror. When you wipe away all condensation, a mirror reflects clearly.
